Experience

To summit Mount Kilimanjaro, a certain level of physical fitness and mental determination is required. While prior mountaineering experience is not necessary, it is beneficial to have some hiking experience and be comfortable with long, strenuous treks. Additionally, it is important to have a positive mindset, adaptability and the ability to follow the slow pace set by your guide. Training and preparation, both physically and mentally, are key to increasing your chances of a successful summit. Please visit our training page for more information and our safety page for our safety protocol.

Why This Trip?

My name is Dragonsky! I’m a thru-hiker, Naked and Afraid survivalist, author, and mountaineer in training from New Jersey. After thru-hiking the AT, CDT, Annapurna Basecamp, Mardi Himal trek, and most of the PCT, I realized my passion is to guide and climb big mountains.
I don’t see many faces like mine in the outdoors and I know showing up matters. I believe that climbing mountains is a healing and deeply spiritual experience.
Kilimanjaro has always been my dream. Providing a safe and fun experience especially as a Queer woman means everything.
As someone who battles depression and mental health issues, I want to show others that they are capable of anything they put their minds to.
Come trek with me! Let’s walk in our truths and take on Kilimanjaro together.
